KERMIT — The Kermit Basketball Buddy League is set to begin for the 2024 season.

Practice and signups began Sept. 16 and will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at the old Kermit gym.

Any boy or girl ages 4-12 can sign up in person to play basketball or cheer from 4:30-7 p.m.

Games are set to begin in November.

“We love to see the kids come out and play,” says volunteer Michael Webb. “We teach fundamentals, not just winning. We try to give them even playing time and let them have fun.”

All participants will receive a trophy at the conclusion of the season.
