The Eden Wildcats and Inez Indians are victorious against out-of-county teams. The following is a recap of week 4 elementary action:
Eden vs Paintsville – On Sept. 9 the Eden A-team defeated Paintsville 30-18.
Paige Stafford fired in 13 points to lead all scorers. Braylee Horn followed up with nine points. Paislee Hinkle dropped in six. Sarah McCoy and Charlie Mollett hit for two.
The Eden B-team won 26-6. Howell flipped in eight points. Aubrey Wilson netted six. Taytum Jennings dropped in four points. Remy Williams, Charlie Mollett, Kylee Horn and Kaydee Dials each scored two points for the Wildcats.
The C-team won 8-6.
Kaydee Dials had four points for Eden. Remy Williams and Lilly McCoy each scored two points.
Inez vs Mullins – On Sept. 9 the Inez A-team defeated Mullins 23-17.
Kenleigh Estep led all scorers with 12 points.
Harper Runyon dropped in five points for the Indians. Macie Callaham flipped in four points and Emily Mooney bucketed two.
The Inez B-team lost to Mullins 30-14. Layla Cline and Kenna Hale shared scoring honors with four points each.
Emily Mollette, Hope Dials and Ebony Arrowood pitched in with two.
Inez at Salyersville – On Sept. 16 the Inez A-team dominated Salyersville 36-10.
Harper Runyon led the Indians with 14 points. Kenleigh Estep followed up with eight points. Jaylea Maynard fired in six.
Emily Mooney dropped in four points. Layla Cline sunk a bucket for two.
The B-team fell 17-10 to Salyersville.
Paisley Mooney fired in four points. Kenna Hale, Ebony Arrowood, and Layla Cline each hit for two.
