Billy Jeff Evans
1941—2024

Billy Jeff Evans, 83, of Kermit, West Virginia, won his earthly battle Sept. 7, 2024, and is now resting peacefully with our Lord.

He was born July 22, 1941, in Clintwood, Virginia, the son of the late Jeff and Francis Maynard Evans.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an unknown number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Brewer Evans; sons Billy Evans and Lundy Brewer Jr. of Kermit; daughter Kayla (Roger) Baisden of Kermit; and five wonderful grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Mary Alice Crum of McDowell, Kentucky, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at the old Jenny’s Creek United Baptist Church, with Ray Jr Messer and Roger Baisden officiating. Burial followed at the Evans and Baisden Cemetery on Marrowbone Creek. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
