INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Danielle E. Pack, 40, of Debord, was arrested Sunday on Beauty Road in Beauty after a series of events led to her discovery with a cocktail of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
The incident began when Special Deputy J.C. Kirk responded to a complaint that Pack was loitering on a porch, allegedly intoxicated, on Beauty Road. When Kirk spotted Pack walking along the road, he observed her appearing anxious, nervously fidgeting with her pockets.
A routine search escalated when Pack pulled out a folded $50 bill and placed it on the hood of Kirk’s cruiser. Authorities said that two clear crystal rocks and powder residue, both suspected to be methamphetamine, were inside the bill.
The discoveries continued when authorities uncovered a smattering of pills, including six acetaminophen hydrocodone bitrate, two buspirone hydrochloride and two prescription bottles—belonging to someone named “Marcum Wallace”—containing a mix of hydrocodone and acetaminophen pills.
Pack’s bag was filled with drug paraphernalia, too: a container dusted with white powder, cut plastic straws, rolling papers, and half of yet another hydrocodone pill.
Deputy Justin Bellamy arrived to assist and took Pack into custody, wrapping up what started as a porch complaint with charges of possession of a controlled substance first degree (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance first degree (opiates), possession of a controlled substance, prescription controlled substance not in proper container and drug paraphernalia-buy/possession.

When he arrived, he discovered what appeared to be industrial bolts, equipment bucket pins, copper wiring, transformer parts and materials, and conduit for wires. Pinson and Collins stated they obtained the items from Martin County Coal property on Middle Fork of Wolf Creek Road in Debord, saying they thought it was OK to get the items. The officer noted that the Martin County Coal property has several security gates and guards posted.
