INEZ — The Martin County Harvest Fest is gearing up for two days of fun Sept. 13 and 14 on Court Street.
This year’s festival features four carnival rides: Ballistic Swings, Phantom’s Revenge (the swinging ship), Tubs of Fun and a rock-climbing wall. A $10 wristband allows unlimited carnival rides for one day (price per day).
Kiwanis Club president Melissa Phelps said the Harvest Festival offers families an affordable way to have fun together.
“Our goal is for everyone to be able to enjoy the festival,” said Phelps. “Kiwanis is dedicated to serving the community, so we try to keep the cost as low as possible. We depend on community sponsors to make it all possible. We couldn’t do this festival them.”
Inflatables will be free, while a ride on the mechanical bull will cost $5 per ride.
Hayrides will be $5, with the pickup being between the new and old courthouses.
