INEZ — The Eden Lady Wildcats, Inez Indians, and Warfield Red Devils are undefeated after playing out-of-county teams. The following is a recap of elementary action:
Eden vs Fallsburg – On Aug. 27 the Eden A-team defeated Fallsburg 35-4.
Braylee Horn fired in 14 points to lead all scorers. Paige Stafford followed with 13.
Sarah McCoy flipped in four points. Martha Maynard and Harper Howell each scored two.
The Eden B-team won 19-11. Howell poured in 11 points. Charlie Mollett hit a cool eight for the Wildcats.
The C-team won 16-13.
Kaydee Dials and Kyleigh Horn flipped in six points. Remy Williams and Lexi Hammond pitched in with two.
Eden vs Porter – On Aug. 29 the Eden A-team took down Porter 41-9.
Paige Stafford led all scorers with 14 points.
Braylee Horn buried 11 points. Sarah McCoy hit for six.
Martha Maynard scored four points. Harper Howell scored three.
Kami Fletcher hit a bucket and Paislee Hinkle nailed a free throw.
The Eden B-team won 30-6. Howell and Aubry Wilson fired in eight points each.
Charlie Mollett flipped in six. Taytum Jennings and Kaydee Dials scored four apiece.
The Eden C-team won 16-3.
Remy Williams led with six points. Lilly McCoy poured in four.
Kyleigh Horn, Dials, and Arianna Guthrie each scored a bucket.
Inez vs Blaine – On Aug. 29 the Inez A-team easily defeated Blaine 45-6.
Harper Runyon fired in 17 points. Kenleigh Estep followed with 12.
Macie Callaham had eight points. Emily added four. Kenna Hale and Jaylea Maynard each pitched in with two.
The Inez B-team took down Blaine 18-9.
Hale scorched the nets with 10 points. Paisley Mooney scored four. Layla Cline and Ebony Arrowood added two each.
Warfield vs Blaine – On Aug. 27 the Warfield A-team won their home opener 16-4 over Blaine.
The Red Devils came alive in the fourth quarter. Leading only by two, they reeled off 10 straight points to pull away.
Paislee Fletcher led all scorers with 10 points.
B. Hall, Gabby Mann and A. Bryant each dropped in a bucket for the Lady Red Devils.
The B-team dominated with a 12-0 win.
B. Nichols led the way with six points. R. Baisden, R. Parks, and Gabby Mann scored two points each.
Warfield will host Louisa East on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
