Leslie Dale Fluty
(1946—2024)

Leslie Dale Fluty, aged 78, passed away peacefully at his home Aug. 29, 2024.

Leslie was born Aug. 9, 1946, in Huntington, West Virginia, to the late Leslie and Oretha Fluty.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Mark.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather whose kindness and dedication left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Leslie is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Fluty, and his children, Gena (Troy) Powers, Dawn (Steven) Hunt and Heather (Roger) Johnson. He was a proud grandfather to Josh (Jessika) Powers, his favorite granddaughter, Railey Johnson and Ashton Hunt, and a great-grandfather to Jensen and Jodah Powers. His baby brother Patrick (Mary) Fluty and nephew Patrick Fluty, along with special cousins Bernie Napier, Rita Napier and Gena Knode, also survive.

His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Leslie will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom and the love he shared with his family and friends. He was a guiding light and a source of strength whose memory will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate to know him.

Services were conducted at Mullins Funeral Home, Warfield, on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
