INEZ — The Martin County Harvest Fest is shaking up performance dates for headliners Noah Thompson, Hillbilly Tradition and Sam L. Smith.

American Idol winner Noah Thompson, originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14, will now perform a day earlier on Friday, Sept. 13, at 9 p.m.

Festival organizers say the change was due to unavoidable scheduling conflicts. They are urging everyone to mark their calendars and get ready for an unforgettable night.

In a dynamic swap, Hillbilly Tradition, initially slated for the Friday night slot, will now keep the momentum going Saturday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. And in a fitting finale, Nashville recording artist Sam L. Smith will move back to the festival headline spot Saturday night, taking the stage at 9 p.m. to close out the festival.

“We’re beyond excited to have Noah Thompson at the Harvest Fest,” said Melissa Phelps, one of the driving forces behind the event as the president of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Martin County. Phelps also extended heartfelt thanks to the Noah Thompson concert’s key sponsors—Tim Robinson, Addiction Recovery Care, Masterpiece Kitchen & Cafe, and Trace Creek Construction—who made Thompson’s appearance possible.

“Noah’s performance is a welcome addition to the already exciting lineup our club and sponsors had in store for the weekend,” remarked Phelps.

The Martin County Harvest Fest is gearing up to deliver two days of incredible music and family-friendly entertainment on Sept. 13 and 14 on Court Street.
