Haskel Johnson
1957—2024

Haskel Johnson, 67, of Tomahawk, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He was born Feb. 7, 1957 in Louisa to the late Troy and Opal Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine Spence and Joyce Stacy.

Haskel is survived by his loving wife, Colleen Daniels Johnson; son, Travis Ray Johnson of Tomahawk; and three granddaughters, Kinsley, Madison and Peyton Johnson. He is also survived by a special niece and nephew, Mellie Daniels and Jason “Jake” Daniels; three siblings, Charlene (James) Tackett of Tomahawk, Roger (Kim Preece) Johnson of Inez and Tracy (Melissa) Johnson of Boonscamp; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl Spence, Charles and Jennie Daniels, Paul Daniels Jr., Edgar and Carol Daniels; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, Aug. 2, 2024 at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with David Bowen, Doc Maynard and Joe Fitch officiating. Burial followed at the Daniels Cemetery in Tomahawk. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
