PILGRIM — A father and son were arrested July 17 in Martin County following an altercation on KY-2032 that resulted in minor injuries, authorities said.
Warren Jude, 62, and his son, Tyler Jude, 35, both of Pilgrim, were taken into custody after Chief Deputy Chris Kidd of the Martin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Warren Jude Road.
Kidd reported that video footage of the incident showed Warren Jude striking a male victim in the head with a closed fist. After the initial assault, Tyler Jude adopted an aggressive stance towards the victim while his wife attempted to restrain him. Tyler Jude continued to approach the victim, holding him down on the ground with both hands.
The victim, who was bleeding from the head, required emergency medical services and was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
Warren Jude was charged with fourth-degree assault causing minor injury, while Tyler Jude was charged with menacing.
