Carlos ‘Tom’ Brewer Jr.
1942—2024

Carlos “Tom” Brewer Jr., 82, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, Kentucky.

Born Feb. 19, 1942 in Mingo County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Carlos Brewer and Eula Webb Brewer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Timothy Brewer, three siblings, Bill Brewer, Jack Brewer and Lillian Hensley and a brother-in-law, Charlie White.

Carlos is survived by his loving wife, Delores Jean Brewer; four children, James Carlos “Harry” Brewer of Danville, West Virginia, Tracy Brewer Lewis and Dale Brewer, both of Oceana, West Virginia, and Regina (Richard) Tilley; and several grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind siblings Glen (Donna) Brewer, Tavie (Virgil) Lovins, Irene Brewer Wolfrom, all of Kermit, West Virginia, and Elizabeth Dawson of Ohio; mother-in-law Lillie Mae White of Barboursville, West Virginia; sister-in-law Ernestine (Ken) Napier of Barboursville, West Virginia; mother of his children Alma Blair; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Warfield, Kentucky, with Russell Ball and Michael Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at the Brewer Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
