Charles ‘Charlie’ Phillip Speer
1981—2024

Charles “Charlie” Phillip Speer, 42, of Kermit, West Virginia, was tragically taken Friday, July 5, 2024 in Lenore.

He was born Aug. 8, 1981 to Charles “Big Eddie” Speer and Sherry Lynn Grace Moore in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Charlie is preceded in death by his papaw Joe Grace and sister Shawna Moore.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Lindsey Preece Speer; children Kyler, Christopher, Cadence, Kieyle, Khloe, Keagan and Kash; granddaughter Scarlett; brother Jack Speer; and numerous family and friends who will miss him dearly, specifically friends Joe Muncy, Doug Houston and Andrew Gess.

Charlie was an employee of Blackhawk Mining and a graduate of Sheldon Clark High School.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield. Burial will follow at the Speer Cemetery on Collins Creek.

Friends may visit the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
