KERMIT, W.Va. — Kermit Volunteer Fire Department’s newest rescue vehicle is a 2012 Ford Expedition donated by the Mingo County Commission.

The vehicle was previously used by the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department, according to Billy Davis of KVFD.

“It is Kermit’s third rescue that is in service,” Davis said. “This was very much needed as Kermit’s call volume has almost doubled since covering for Dunlow Fire & EMS.”
