INEZ — Kenadi Fannin is the Tommy’s Auto Sales Player of the Week.

Fannin was voted as the starting pitcher for the Martin County 12U All-Stars softball team.

The squad traveled to Lawrence County for a district tournament on June 19 and 20.

With temperatures near the 100-degree mark, Fannin delivered 85 pitches from the mound and struck out five for the All-Stars versus Lawrence County.

The ace pitcher took the mound again the following evening. She fought through fatigue and smoldering heat to throw 60 pitches to Belfry and strike out four batters.
