Jessie Melvin Bailey
1980—2024

Jessie Melvin Bailey, 43, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Tug Valley ARH Hospital in South Williamson.

Born Sept. 13, 1980, in South Williamson, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Lois Brewer and Jessie (Elsie) Bailey of Lovely.

He was a carpenter by trade and of the Freewill Baptist faith.

Jessie is survived by his son, Jacob Bailey of Belfry, Kentucky; brothers, Justin (Tiarra) Bailey of Kermit, West Virginia, and Christopher Muncy of Crum, West Virginia; sisters, Melissa (Michael) Gess of Warfield, Kentucky, and Cindy (George) Jude of Lovely, Kentucky; and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, June 14, 2024, at Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, with George Jude officiating. Burial followed at his family cemetery in Lovely.

The Bailey family requests donations to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
