INEZ — The Tommy’s Auto Sales Player of the Week is Kaitlyn Gauze.

The former Lady Cardinals soccer star is the first of her kind. She signed with Chattanooga FC and became the first soccer player in Martin County High School history to play for a semi-pro futbol squad. 

The 5-foot-8 midfielder is a starter for the Major League Soccer NextPro team. 

Gauze will begin her third season at the University of Charleston in the fall after she completes her summer stint with CFC.
