Organizers call on community to support back-to-school bash

CITIZEN STAFF REPORT

INEZ — The Martin County Ministerial Association and Martin County Family Resource and Youth Service Centers have officially announced that their annual back-to-school bash will be held Aug. 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This year’s event will take place at the Inez Freewill Baptist gymnasium located next to the Martin County Swimming Pool.

Organizers are once again calling on the community to contribute school supplies for students, saying that any donations will be greatly appreciated. Additionally, candy and treats are welcomed as a bonus.

Participating vendors should plan to bring their own tables, chairs and canopies.

This year’s theme is “Sports,” and organizers encourage vendors to decorate their spaces accordingly. Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated table.

Vendors can begin setting up at 4:30 p.m. and must be fully set up by 5:30 p.m.
