INEZ — The Martin County High School Lady Cardinals basketball team will host their annual Camp of Champions next week on May 29, 30 & 31 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Hall of Fame Coach Robin Harmon Newsome and her staff will lead the event with current and former Lady Cardinals. Morehead State signee Laken Williams and Alice Lloyd commit Katie Marcum will be among the instructors.

The camp is for boys and girls K-7 and will cost $50 per player. Participants are instructed to bring their own basketball each day.

The players will take part in shooting and dribbling competitions, and the winners will earn awards.

The kids will receive a T-shirt and basketball at the conclusion of the camp. The cost also includes snacks provided for the players.
