Russell Maynard
1965—2024

Russell Maynard, age 58, of Crum, West Virginia, passed away May 17, 2024.

Born Oct. 20, 1965, in Louisa, he was the son of the late Richard Bowens and Lurie Bowens Maynard.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Maynard, James Earl Maynard and Wilburn Maynard, and two sisters, Patricia Pridemore and Marlyn McCoy. He also leaves behind one daughter, Tara (Roy) Jude of Williamson, West Virginia; one brother, Terry Maynard of Webb, West Virginia; two sisters, Earnestine Maynard of Webb, West Virginia and Ella Maynard of Red Jacket, West Virginia; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Webb Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Webb Cemetery. Friends may visit the church Sunday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
