Annaleigh Davis plays in Mountain Showcase

JENKINS — Martin County Middle School athlete Annaleigh Davis was chosen to participate in the D&D Sports Annual Mountain Showcase April 20.

The top middle school players from the tri-state area received an invite to compete and display their skills in Jenkins in front of a large crowd. The seventh grader has been invited two years in a row to the event.

Players are selected through a live draft.

Davis poured in nine points against the stacked competition.

The A-team starting point guard averaged 14 points per game this past middle school season.

Davis plays freshman basketball at Martin County High School and averaged 13 per contest for the Lady Cards.

She is also a star on the soccer field. The MCMS Cardinal soccer team is currently tied for No. 2 in the region.
