Jeffery Lynn Pitts
1961—2024

Jeffery Lynn Pitts, age 62, passed away April 26, 2024, at Highlands Appalachian Regional Hospital in Prestonsburg.

Born June 5, 1961, in Vong, Colorado, he was the son of the late AJ Pitts and Virginia Driscoll.

In addition to his father, Jeffery is preceded in death by one son, JP Pitts.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle (Meade) Pitts of Hagerhill; one son, Jeff R. Pitts of Hagerhill; two daughters, Kendra (Robbie) Blevins of Lawrence County and Lakean (Adam) Chapman of Kemper; one brother, Casey Pitts of Colorado; two sisters, Deborah Kimsey and Amanda Malson, both of Colorado; and a special friend, Joe. Jeffery also leaves behind four grandchildren, Eli, Jenna, Greyson and Kinzlee.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, Inez, with Randy Cassidy officiating. Burial will follow in the Meade Family Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home Monday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
