Marie (Marcum) Jude
1946—2024

Marie (Marcum) Jude, 77, of Beauty, passed away April 16, 2024, at Martin County Health Care Facility in Inez.

Born Oct. 13, 1946, in Wayne County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Vess and Arizona Marcum.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Jude; daughter, Amanda Sue Muncy; son, Daniel Lee Muncy; four sisters, Liddy Mae Marcum, Lola Justice, Elizabeth Newsome and Emma Jean Block; and two brothers, Flem Marcum and Cecil Marcum.

Marie was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Donald Gene Muncy of Lovely; three brothers, Kessler Marcum, Johnny (Pam) Marcum and Landon (Haley) Marcum; and four sisters, Jennette Muncy, Verlie (David) Brewer, Rosetta (Jimmy) Alley and Ollie (Danny) Spaulding. She also leaves behind grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Warfield, with Bill Messer and Bobby Alley officiating. Burial was at the Perry Point Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
