Linda Carol Bailey
1956—2024

Linda Carol Bailey, 67, of Kermit, West Virginia, gained her angel wings Monday, April 1, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones at her home.

Born April 12, 1956, in Mingo County, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Nora Spaulding.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Spaulding and Bill Spaulding Jr.

She leaves behind two loving children, Tristan (Justin) Spaulding and Bradley Bailey, both of Kermit; two grandsons, Preston Kole and Paxton Kane Spaulding, who were the loves of her life. She also leaves behind her siblings, Dorothy Linville, Gail (Archie) Messer, Charlene Back, Danny (Judy) Spaulding, Ron (Kathy) Spaulding, Kathy (Paul) Messer, Ann (Glen) Brown; sister-in-law, Shena Spaulding; special aunt, Loretta Brewer; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers: Matthew Messer, Cody Brown, Justin Spaulding, Archie Messer Jr., Eddy Back Jr., Parker Kelly, Michael Back Jr. and John Alex Muncy.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, Kentucky, with Paul Messer and Michael Back officiating. Burial was at the Bill Spaulding Cemetery on Marrowbone. Arrangments are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
