Inez Elementary School’s Staff of the Month award goes to staff who attended the UFLI training in Morehead in February.

These teachers are incorporating UFLI in their daily instruction:

First grade – Robynn Haney and Krista Wheeler

Second grade – Della Preston & Rita Mills

Third grade – Andrea Wilson

RTI Coach – Jessica Dye

Inclusive education teacher – Amie Harless

UFLI Foundations was created to develop and deepen teachers’ knowledge and skills to address the needs of beginning and struggling readers. The focus of this model is to support the development of foundational reading skills of children in kindergarten and first and second grades.
