Ronnie Gene Spaulding
1957—2024

Ronnie Gene Spaulding, 66, of New Albany, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at Mount Carmel East in Columbus.

Born July 8, 1957, in Columbus, he was the son of Thelma Fields Spaulding of New Albany and the late Gabe Spaulding.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Spaulding, and an infant sister, Eva Ann Spaulding.

In addition to his mother, Ronnie is survived by his son, Gabriel (Starling) Spaulding of Warfield, Kentucky, and three grandchildren, Candace, Cheyenne and Isaac. He is also survived by five siblings, Charles Taft Spaulding of Crestline, Judy Walters of Columbus, Darlene Purcell of Bucyrus, Bonnie (Sherman) Salmons of Kermit, West Virginia, and Lana (Richard) Spaulding of New Albany; and several loving, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ronnie loved the Lord and his family dearly and was an avid hunter, fisherman and all-around outdoorsman. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Walnut Grove Church of Christ in Crum, West Virginia, with Jessie Spaulding officiating. Burial was at the Spaulding Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
