INEZ — Kathleen Price officially announced her candidacy for reelection to the District 5 seat on the Martin County Board of Education.

Price submitted her candidacy paperwork Monday in the Martin County Clerk’s Office.

After initially being appointed to the BOE in 2003 to fill the vacant seat of Carol Chaffin, Price has successfully run for the position five additional times. This will be her sixth.

“It has been a great privilege to serve on the Martin County School Board,” Price said.
