CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. — Facing Hunger Foodbank announced the return of the Italiano Festival in 2024 after a 4-year hiatus. The event will be held on Fourth Avenue in Downtown Huntington and is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 17.
Organizers say the foodbank is already hard at work lining up the performers and is excited to welcome back fan favorites Benjamin DeFazio and the WVIHF Dancers.
All proceeds from the event will go towards Facing Hunger’s mission to end hunger in the area.
This year’s Italiano Festival is sponsored by CJ Hughes Construction based out of Huntington. CJ Hughes is a full-service construction company that focuses on water, sanitary, natural gas and petroleum industries. Representatives from CJ Hughes and Facing Hunger Foodbank were on-site at the foodbank Friday for a check presentation.
Spots for additional sponsorships and Italian food vendors are available now.
