Cynda Vance

1970—2024

Cynda Vance, 53, gained her heavenly wings Feb. 11, 2024.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and nana.

She was born June 24, 1970, the daughter of the late Virgil Salmons and Joyce Salmons.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Brayden Manns; mother-in-law, Wanda Vance; and father-in-law, Joseph Vance.

In addition to her mother, Cynda is survived by her husband of 35 years, Timothy Vance; her children, Ashley (Seante) Evans, Tia (Billy) Manns and Grayson Vance; two sisters, Dee (Tim) Lambert and Vickie (Freddy) Messer; and four grandchildren. She was also loved by a host of friends and family. She was loved by anyone who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024 at the Old Jennies Creek Church in Kermit, West Virginia, with Freddie Messer officiating. Burial will follow at the Marcum Cemetery in Naugatuck. Friends may visit at the church Tuesday after 6 p.m. and Wednesday with special services at 7 both nights. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
