Francis Marion ‘Pickle’ McCoy
1959—2024

Francis Marion “Pickle” McCoy, 64, of Wittensville, formerly of Inez, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

He was born July 14, 1959, to the late James “Bill” McCoy and Olga McCoy.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Ora Jude and Dallas and Emma McCoy and 10 siblings, James D. McCoy, Lucille McCoy, Columbus McCoy Sr., Ervin Morrison, Russell McCoy, Venus McCoy, Elmer McCoy, Angeline McCoy Fitchpatrick, William Thomas McCoy and Estelene McCoy.

Francis is survived by his two children, Dustin Dwayne (Rachel) Davis Sr. of Raleigh County, West Virginia, and William (Heather) Williamson of Paintsville; grandchildren, Maddison Williamson, Christian Williamson, Tiffany Davis, Dustin Dwayne Davis Jr., Gracie Cochran, Jayce Williamson and Owen Williamson; and one great-grandson, Dillon Daniels. He is also survived by three siblings, Sammy L. McCoy, Parker McCoy and Phyllis McCoy Estep, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Richard Rife officiating. Burial will follow at the Goble Cemetery in Debord. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
