Sarah Margaret Bruce Fluty
1960—2024

Sarah Margaret Bruce Fluty, 63, of Louisa, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

Born Aug. 2, 1960, in Missouri, she was the daughter of the late John Henry “J.H.” Bruce and Anna Daniel Bruce.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Fluty and two siblings, Wanda Jane Bruce and David Bruce.

Survivors include Sara’s children, Amanda (Donnie) Fluty of Ft. Gay, West Virginia, William Fluty and Cody (Kylee) Fluty, both of Louisa, and Tara (Amanda) Fluty of Frankfort; six grandchildren, Logan Ellis, Sheridan Ellis, Andrew Davis, Jayden Payton, Brandon Fluty and Bentley Fluty; and one great-granddaughter, Hadley Fluty. Additional survivors include five siblings, Diane (Robert) Hanner and John Bruce, both of Bloomfield, Missouri, Martha (Terry) Rowland, Dorothy (Ronnie) Beyer and Keith (Marrianne) Bruce, all of Dexter, Missouri, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Elias Maynard officiating. Burial was at the Fluty Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
