Brenda Roberts Haney
1946—2024

Brenda Roberts Haney, 77, of Louisa, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2024, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.

Born July 9, 1946, in Lagrange, she was the daughter of the late Paul Mahoney and Betsy Ross Dunaway Jones.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two husbands, Fred Allen Roberts and Johnny Haney, and three brothers, Jack Rucker, Melvin Douglas Jones and Michael Wayne Mahoney.

Survivors include her two daughters, Paula (Donnie) Howell and Teresa Sansom, both of Inez; three grandchildren, Steven (Natasha) Howell of Inez, Bradley (Tommy) Sansom Caldwell and Tara Ray Sansom, both of Paintsville; three great-grandchildren, Harper Howell, Jace Howell and Dalton Caldwell; and three brothers, Jeff Jones, Eddie Jones and Tony Jones. She is also survived by stepchildren Sheila Haskin of Savannah, Georgia, Johnny Haney Jr. of Ohio, Ron Haney of Oregon and Michael Haney, and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the Prewitt Funeral Home in New Castle. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Prewitt Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the New Castle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home of Inez.
