Brenda Kay Williamson Chislom
1945—2024
Brenda Kay Williamson Chislom, 78, of Warfield, passed away peacefully Jan. 22, 2024.
Born May 28, 1945, in Breeden, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Frankie Williamson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Chislom, brothers Albert Williamson, Wilford Williamson and Larry Williamson, and granddaughter, Brittney Gee Dobbs. Her grandson, Shane Simmons, departed this life just a few days after her death.
Brenda will be lovingly remembered as a dedicated wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and a friend to many. Her love for her family and her home state of West Virginia was evident to all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tena (Randy) Bilbrey and Debbie Bane of Muncie, Indiana; grandsons Mitchell and Jerry Bane of Muncie, Indiana; brothers Emmett Williamson of Breeden, West Virginia, and Dean (Margaret) Williamson of Wadsworth, Ohio. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be at the Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Zion Church in Breeden, West Virginia, with Phillip Stroud and Eugene Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at the Maynard Cemetery in Breeden. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
