INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:
Jordan Doyle, 26, of Inez, was arrested Monday on a bench warrant for court. Deputy Chris Sesco made the arrest.
Brittany Collins, 30, of West Liberty, was arrested Monday for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Joseph C. Jude, 42, of Lovely, was arrested Sunday at Cardinal Country Store on New Route 3 in Inez for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and a bench warrant for court. While searching Jude, Deputy Alex Adams discovered a baggie containing a hard, white, crystalized substance in Jude’s jacket pocket. Jude allegedly admitted it was methamphetamine and stated he had used it approximately two days earlier.
Harold Nease, 63, of Staffordsville, was arrested Sunday on Boardwalk in Inez on a bench warrant for parole violation. Deputy Chris Sesco made the arrest.
Lori Fields, 47, of Pinsonfork, was arrested Saturday on Riverfront Road in Lovely on two bench warrants for court. Sesco made the arrest.
James Maynard, 42, and April Hickman, 36, of Inez, were arrested Friday on Little Rockcastle Road in Inez on a charge of assault, fourth degree (domestic violence) minor injury. Deputies Sesco and Adams were dispatched to a residence on Little Rockcastle Road on a domestic violence report. According to the police report an argument between Maynard and Hickman escalated into a physical altercation. Hickman allegedly told law enforcement that Maynard assaulted her. Maynard reportedly stated Hickman hit and scratched his face, then grabbed a baseball bat and attempted to hit him with it. The police report noted Hickman had an injury on the side of her head, while Maynard also had a “visible injury.”
Riley Keith Marcum, 38, of Crum, West Virginia, was arrested Jan. 12 in Beauty on a bench warrant for court. Deputy Alex Adams made the arrest.
James McCoy, 52, of Pilgrim, was arrested Jan. 13 in Pilgrim for violation of an emergency protective order. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.
