Gladys Harmon
1931—2024
Gladys Harmon, 92, of Warfield, passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at the Martin County Health Care Facility.
Born June 24, 1931 in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late Lacy Pack and Mahala Maynard Pack.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Harmon, 10 brothers and two sisters.
She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and many friends. She loved her nieces and nephews and all children.
Gladys was owner of Harmon Grocery Store at the Mouth of Emily Creek in Pilgrim and ran the store until 2007, when the flood destroyed it. She stood by her community and was loved by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home, Warfield, with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery on Emily Creek in Pilgrim. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
