Martin County basketball player Katie Marcum (#32) has officially committed to signing a letter of intent with Alice Lloyd College to pursue her academic career and her passion for basketball.

Marcum, a presence on the court, is scheduled to ink her commitment with the Eagles at 10 a.m. Jan. 23 in the MCHS auditorium.

A true leader and team player for the Martin County Lady Cards, Marcum has been a 4-year starter. Her achievements include accumulating over 1,500 points and securing over 1,000 rebounds throughout her basketball career.

Marcum has helped lead the Lady Cardinals to a remarkable 96-39 record over her career. She excels academically and athletically at Martin County High School. Her commitment and dedication to the sport of basketball has been exceptional.
