Brenda Lowe
1949—2024

Brenda Lowe, 74, of Pilgrim, passed away Jan. 13, 2024, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

Born Feb. 16, 1949, in Pilgrim, she was the daughter of the late Prentice and Ada Maynard Muncy.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Andy Lowe, one brother, Prentice Muncy Jr., and two sisters, Linda Patrick and Josephine Cornette.

Survivors include two sons, Shawn (Melinda) Lowe of Pilgrim and Andy (Opal) Lowe of Thelma; one daughter, Ada Michelle (George) Daniels of Pilgrim; one brother, Eddie Muncy of Inez; two grandchildren, Shana Pauley of Morehead and Curtis Murphy of Indiana; and one great-granddaughter, Christa Pauley of Tomahawk.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Crum Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lowe Cemetery, Pilgrim. Friends may visit the funeral home Monday and Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home, Inez.
