Dolly (Fletcher) Maynard
1948—2024

Dolly (Fletcher) Maynard, age 75, of Inez, passed away Jan. 12, 2024 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

Born Feb. 16, 1948 in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late Jeff and Estie Jude Fletcher.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Maynard; six brothers, Henry Fletcher, Arthur Fletcher, Johnny Fletcher, Joe Fletcher, Matt Fletcher and Oscar Fletcher; and four sisters, Mae Staton, Elizabeth Howell, Gracie Fletcher and Margaret Fletcher.

Survivors include her brothers, Arnold Fletcher of Lowmansville, Glen Fletcher, Melvin Fletcher, Carlos Fletcher and Johnny Ray Fletcher, all of Inez; sisters, Marie Staton of Michigan, Lillian Stacy, Joann Six and Janet Jude, all of Inez, Kathy Allen of Ulysses and Darlene Wright of Louisa; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, Inez, with Gary Jude, Glenn Penix and Willis Staton officiating. Burial will follow at the Maynard Family Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home.
