PIKEVILLE — Pikeville Medical Center proudly announced the arrival of Hudson James Bentley, the first baby born in 2024 at their facility.

Hudson, the son of Hannah Adams and Tyler Bentley of Pike County, made his debut into the world weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 19-1/4 inches in length.

The delivering physician was Dr. Hayley Trimble.

In keeping with a longstanding tradition, PMC is waiving all medical costs for Hudson’s birth that are not covered by insurance.

Adding to the celebration, the Bentley family received a handmade quilt from Dr. Trimble and the PMC OB-GYN team. Additionally, various local businesses joined by donating various gifts to the family.

Pikeville Medical Center congratulates the Bentley family and welcomes Hudson James as the first baby of 2024.
