David Sluss
1981—2024

David Sluss, 42, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Jan. 4, 2024.

Born July 14, 1981, in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of Hershel Sluss and Tami Headrick.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Caden Andrew Sluss and Damon Edward Sluss; one sister, Michelle (Jason) Cook; three nephews, Brayden Cook, Zackary Cook and Austin Hatfield; his stepfather, Jerry Headrick; and stepmother, Rhonda Bryant.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Charles Price officiating. Burial will follow at the Sluss Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
