Larry Chapman
1951—2023

Larry Chapman, 72, of Louisa, passed away Jan. 2, 2024, at his residence.

Born June 5, 1951, in Inez, he was the son of the late Albert and Lena Fraley Chapman.

He is survived by one son, Anthony (Darielle) Chapman of Louisa; one daughter, Lori (Noah) Luster of Inez; four brothers, Mike Chapman, Gary (Linda) Chapman and Link (Raynell) Chapman, all of Inez, and Randy (Jane Ann) Chapman of Washington; and two sisters, Ida (Alex) Smith of Inez and Jackie (Mike) Rogers of Shelbyville, Tennesee. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Kaitlin (Matt) Dillon, Jamie Chapman, Larry Alexander Salmons, Patrick Salmons, Ethan Chapman and Kaylee Chapman, and two great-grandchildren, Barrett Dillon and Bo Lawson Dillon.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 7, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Charley Freewill Baptist Church with Joseph Castle officiating. Burial will follow at the Chapman Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home Saturday from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
