Arthur Staton
1961—2024

Arthur Staton, 62, of Big Branch Road, Pikeville, passed away Jan. 3, 2024, at his home.

Born Nov. 12, 1961, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Earmel Staton and Minnie Moore.

In addition to his parents, Arthur is preceded in death by three sisters.

He was a general laborer and of the Baptist faith.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Janette Mullins Staton; son, A.J. Farra; daughter, Sasha St. Clair; brothers, Phillip (Loretta) Jude of Pilgrim and Roger (Brenda) Jude of Blaine; and numerous family members and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at the Martin County Freewill Baptist Church, with Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow at the Maynard Fork Cemetery on Meathouse Road. Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield is honored to serve the family.
