Shirley White

1941—2023

Shirley White. 82. of Lenore, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Dec/ 21, 2023, at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville.

Born June 9, 1941, in Lenore, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Susie Bailey Thompson.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, William Thompson, Orlena Davis and Lola Davis.

Shirley was a housewife and a member of the Little Dove United Baptist Church in Belo.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Dale White of Lenore; son, Jimmy Dale White of Lenore; grandson, Garrett White; brother, Wib (Eva) Thompson of Lenore; sister-in-law, Vella Thompson of Lenore; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at the Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield, with Brother Jimmy Maynard and Chris Ooten officiating. Burial will follow at the Thompson Cemetery in Lenore. Friends may visit from noon until the time of the service Wednesday. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
