INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Brian Carter, 44, of Ulysses, was arrested Saturday on a bench warrant for court. Deputy Chris Sesco made the arrest.

Chad Nichols, 40, of Lovely, was arrested Friday for assault, fourth degree (minor injury) and menacing. Sesco made the arrest.

Sontez Sheckles, 29, of Cincinnati, was arrested Dec. 20 at the United States Penitentiary Big Sandy in Debord on a fugitive from another state warrant. Sheriff Kirk served the warrant.

Danny L. Vanhoose, 41, of Tomahwk, was arrested Saturday for second-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, fleeing or evading police on foot and resisting arrest.

Other arrests

Christopher Mollette, 35, of Tomahawk, was arrested Saturday for failure to appear and traffic charges by Kentucky State Police Trooper Smith.

Ronnie Spaulding, 38, of Pilgrim, was arrested Saturday by KSP Post 14 for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to produce insurance card and speeding 21 mph over the limit.

Kristin Slone, 27, of Inez, was arrested Dec. 19 for contempt of court by an officer from Martin County drug court.
