Bennie Ray Marcum 

1949—2023

Bennie Ray Marcum 74 of Beauty, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on March 27, 1949 in Martin County, KY; he was a son of the late Flarnie Short Stepp. Bennie is preceded in death by his siblings; Herman Endicott, Franklin Endicott, Delma Whitt, Thelma Maynard, Clara Mae Marcum, Pearlie Wiley, and step brother, Jay Stepp. He was a sawmill worker by trade.

Bennie is survived by his brother, Billy Joe (Jeanie) Hickman of Columbus, OH, sister, Dreama Jude of Louisa, KY and step brothers, James Stepp, Glen Stepp, and Brady Stepp all of Lawrence County, KY as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Mullins Family Funeral Home with funeral services being conducted on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00am with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard Cemetery of Marcum Hollow, Beauty, KY. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Bennie Ray Marcum.
