Gwen D. Elkins Green

1951—2023

Gwen D. Elkins Green, age 72, of Debord, passed away Dec. 14, 2023, at her residence.

Born May 2, 1951, in Mann, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Noah and Mary Lou Cochran Elkins.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Allen Green of Debord; three daughters, Felicia Barrett of Danville, Crystal Muncy of Debord and Chandra Mills of Lancaster; and one brother, Jimmy Elkins of Hickory, North Carolina. Four grandchildren, Ryan West, Alley Coffey, Christopher Muncy and Kaitlyn Mills, and four great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral costs. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
