PRESTONSBURG — Connie Estep, MA, Big Sandy Community and Technical College director of grants development, has received the distinguished Grants Professional Certification.

The GPC was issued through the Grants Professional Certification Institute, the only nationally recognized grant certification provider.

Reflecting on the achievement, Estep remarked, “The GPCI’s nine competencies provide a sound basis for my work in preparing grant proposals and planning projects. The exam preparation was challenging, and I am humbled to be part of this tremendous community. Being a member of the grant professional community goes beyond a title; it signifies a commitment to excellence and a determination to create a meaningful impact through successful grant initiatives.”
