Bonnie J. Hensley
1942—2023

Bonnie J. Hensley, 81, of Warfield, passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Warfield.

Born April 28, 1942, in Kermit, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruth Smith Dotson.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Hodaviah Hensley; brothers, William Farquharson, Bernard Dotson, Robert Dotson and Burl Dotson; and sister, Barbara Ann Dotson.

Bonnie was a housewife.

Survivors include her son, William Shannon Wagner; stepson, Aaron Homer Hensley; daughter, Rebecca Hensley (Clelley) Salley; grandchildren, Aaron Tyler (Violet) Salley, Mary Kathryn Salley and Heather Salley; and great-grandson, William Hodaviah (Liam) Salley. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda (Roy) Herald, and numerous extended family and friends.

Private funeral services and visitation were conducted Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at Mullins Family Funeral Home. Burial was at the Hensley Cemetery in Warfield. Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield is honored to serve the family.
