Thelma Jean Webb

1933—2023

Thelma Jean (Perry) Webb, age 90, passed away Nov. 26, 2023, at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Thelma was born Jan. 16, 1933, in Dunlow (Sweetwater), West Virginia, to Ted and Emma (Mathis) Perry, who preceded her in death. Thelma is also preceded in death by her brother and sister, Clifton Perry and Myrtle Booth; two brothers-in-law, John Booth and Harold Horn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carlos and Mittie (Maynard) Webb; and a daughter-in-law, Sherry (Anderson) Webb.

Thelma married Ervin Printes Webb on Dec. 25, 1954, at the Golden Memorial Church in Inez. They enjoyed 68 years of marriage.

She is survived by her husband, Printes; four children, Terry Webb, Kimberly (Randy) Allen, Shawn Webb and Mary Beth (Billy) Preece; 10 grandchildren, Shawnda (Matt) Steinke, Christi (Keith) Nichols, Hope (Opie) Maynard, Michael (Vanessa) Allen, Casey Webb, Amanda Webb, Cody Preece, Ryan (Leianna) Preece, Zac Preece, Heather (Coby) Harmon; and 15 great-grandchildren, Cory Mollett, Cameron Marcum, Keylan Mills, Karli Nichols, Bryce Nichols, Miles Steinke, Oliver Steinke, Tyler Allen, Ayden Allen, Lucas Preece, Cameron Webb, Madison Webb, Aspyn Harmon, Noah Harmon and Colton Harmon. She is also survived by two siblings, T.G (Denise) Perry and Garnet Horn; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carlos Merlin, Gwindell (Nichols) Perry and Sonia Webb; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank the caregivers who have helped care for Thelma over the last several years.

Thelma will be remembered for her delicious angel food cake and scrumptious lasagna as well as her love for the Lord. She always enjoyed singing with the choir. She was a faithful member of the Golden Memorial Church for many years.

Visitation will take place beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with services beginning at 1 p.m. with Larry Castel, Mike Goble and David Heintzelman officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa.
