Carpentry students build oversized chair for Harvest Fest

INEZ — Students in the Martin County ATC carpentry program helped beautify Umbrella Alley in downtown Inez by constructing a super-sized chair that can seat multiple people.
Students in the second and third periods, along with the students in the fifth and sixth periods, combined their skills in sizing, cutting, drilling and sanding to complete the project.
Carpentry instructor Brandon Conley was very pleased with his students’ effort and detail in constructing the chair, which was finished in time for Harvest Fest.
