Connie Moore
1945—2023

Connie Moore, 78, passed away Oct. 18, 2023, surrounded by her family at Community Hospice House in Ashland, following a battle with breast cancer.

Born Sept. 11, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Nancy Jude Moore.

Connie was from a large family and wore many hats in life. She was a mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was also a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Edna Spaulding, Sadie Brewer, Joe Moore and Bobby Moore.

Survivors include her children, Earl Larue (Lisa) Slone of Alabama and Angela Nilo of Columbus, Ohio, six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind brothers Terry and Buddy Moore,  sister Ruby Pauley, and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, at Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the family cemetery in Beauty. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
